NEWPORT´┐ŻCocke County High School senior offensive lineman Gladstone (Sam) Gunn has verbally committed to ETSU, according to Fighting Cocks coach Caleb Slover.

A four-year offensive line starter for the Fighting Cocks, Gunn becomes the second member of the team to commit to the Buccaneers football program.

Gunn is a two-time All-District 2-AAA selection and will be among a second-wave of recruits to sign with the Buccaneers football program in the coming weeks.

At Wednesday evening's National Signing Day celebration, ETSU football coach Carl Torbush said that the school be ready to announce the next wave of signees in the coming days or weeks.
