NASHVILLE-Cocke County A&I Fair
representatives brought home yet another massive trophy from the annual Tennessee Association of
Fairs annual convention held Jan. 16-18 in Nashville's Sheraton Music City Hotel.
This year the local fair was named Division AA Premier Fair, a distinction
noting it as one of the top three fairs across the state. Overton County Fair, the Division A
Premier Fair, was named Champion of Champions. Division AAA Premier Fair was Sevier County.
State Commissioner of Agriculture Julius Johnson presented awards to 56 of
Tennessee's top county, regional, and state agricultural fairs for the 2013 fair season.
More than 900 people gathered for the 92nd annual convention.
