NEWPORT-A Bybee woman arrested for DUI and other multiple charges, slipped out of her handcuffs and ran away before being caught, on Sunday, Jan. 12, the Newport Police Department reported.Tina
L. Wills, 32, of Stokes Valley Way, in Bybee, first caught the attention of police officers when she allegedly drove over a sidewalk in front of a Dollar General store on Cosby Highway, almost striking customers on the sidewalk, Patrolman Matthew Elliott reported.Police
were dispatched to the Dollar General store, located at 1053 Cosby Highway, concerning an intoxicated driver who drove over the sidewalk. Employees wrote down the tag on the 2000 Ford TSS. Officers then found Wills driving the vehicle at the intersection of Heritage Blvd. and Cosby Highway, according to the report.After
waiting five to 10 seconds after the light turned green, Wills proceeded through the intersection.For
