NEWPORT-Child support magistrate Lu Ballew briefly responded to charges brought against her by the Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct, court documents show.A three-member investigative panel organized by the board ruled that there is "reasonable cause" to believe Judge Ballew committed judicial offenses in violation of the Tennessee Code Annotated.The
panel directed Disciplinary Counsel to file formal charges against her, according to a court document.Judge
