The National Weather Service in Morristown is predicting up to an inch of snow tonight as cold weather returns to the area.Rain
was expected to begin this morning and continue into the afternoon, with a high of 42. The rain is expected to change to snow late this afternoon and continue until around midnight as colder air moves in. Temperatures are predicted to drop to the low to mid-teens tonight and be accompanied by strong wind gusts. Higher snow accumulations are predicted in the mountains, particularly in areas above 2,500 feet.A high of 28 is predicted for Friday, with another chance of snow predicted for Sunday night and into Monday.
