NEWPORT-Six people were injured in a chain-reaction wreck that involved three vehicles, on U.S. Highway 321, on Saturday, Dec. 21, the Cocke County Sheriff's Department reported.April
N. Proffitt, 23, of 940 Middle Creek Road, in Cosby, was driving a 2013 Nissan Altima, headed south on Highway 321, near Spring Way, when her vehicle struck the rear end of a 2006 Toyota driven by Christopher B. Wells, 28, of Tarawa Terrace, N.C., according to a report by Lt. C.J. Ball.The
impact of the Nissan reportedly caused the Toyota to strike a 2005 Honda Odyssey driven by Mark K. Williams, 45, of Orangeburg, S.C., the report stated.For
