NEWPORT-A high-speed pursuit by officers with the Newport Police Department and Jefferson County Sheriff's Department on Interstate 40 resulted in a wreck by the vehicle being chased and the driver's arrest, on Sunday, Dec. 22, at about 2:15 a.m., the NPD reported.Patrolman William Garber of the NPD said he observed a 1993 Ford Ranger pick-up truck cross the solid white line on the right twice while traveling on the westbound on-ramp at Exit 432 on I-40.For
