NEWPORT-The U.S. 411 Highway/State Route 35 project 'is currently on schedule', said Mark Nagi, public information officer for the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), on Thursday, Nov. 21."The project is progressing well, with more than a third of all work complete," Nagi stated.He
said over one million of an estimated three million cubic yards of earthen material required to construct the road have been excavated by Charles Blalock & Sons, Inc., the contractor on the project.For
