awareness. Newport Medical Center is
teaming up with city and county offices and businesses, along with the

City and county office
employees have been invited to participate in the awareness day by displaying “Paint
the Town Pink” signs in their windows and by wearing pink on that day. City and
county owned vehicles will also display magnetic pink ribbons. Local businesses
have been asked to display the signs, encourage employees to wear pink and, if
possible, offer some type of discount or special promotion for breast cancer
