NEWPORT-Alcohol may have been a factor when a motorcyclist from Knoxville died following an accident on U.S. Highway 25/70 in Newport, when his 2005 Road King Harley-Davidson ran off the right side of the highway, the driver overcorrected, lost control of the vehicle, and was thrown from the motorcycle, on Saturday, Oct. 5, the Tennessee Highway Patrol reported.Jeffrey K. Hubarth, 47, of Knoxville, died in a medical helicopter flight from the scene of the accident, THP Trooper Mark Self reported.The
report stated that Hubarth, who was not wearing a helmet, had consumed alcohol prior to the wreck. A passenger, Leeanne S. Crafton, 45, of Knoxville, had also reportedly consumed alcohol prior to the accident. Crafton, who was wearing a helmet, was injured.For
