DEL RIO-A Newport man who allegedly stole $600 from a
pool game at the Barbarosa Bar on Dixie Highway in Del Rio, and then hit two
men with his vehicle in the parking lot before leaving, was arrested on
Saturday, Sept. 21, at 6:30 a.m., the Cocke County Sheriff's Office reported.
Brady Brazell, 30, of 429 Duncan St., in Newport, was
arrested at the Sheriff's Office on warrants taken out by Deputy Sheriff Heath
Willis, and charged with aggravated assault (two counts), theft over $500, and
leaving the scene of an accident with bodily injury following the alleged theft
at the Barbarosa.
