COSBY—The Cosby Eagles dive back into region play on Friday
at 7:30 p.m. as they look to finally grab their first win of the season at Hancock County (RADIO:
WLIK 1270-AM, Tape Delay).
The Indians are led by first year head coach Phil Blevins, and
other than some film study this week, the Eagles don't really know what to expect when they hit
the field on Friday.
This will certainly be a new look Hancock County football team with the
new staff, but fortunately for the Eagles, the Indians won't be rolling any complex offense or
defense out on the field.
"They've got a few athletes that can play," Cosby head coach
Kevin Hall said. "They've got a big fullback that ain't bad. They've got a big tight end and
a couple of decent receivers that are athletes.
"They run a Power-I with two tight (ends)
and two backs. You can tell they're real young because they do just a lot of basic stuff on both
sides of the ball. It's nothing real fancy, they'll just come straight at you."
