NEWPORT-Alan Hill, who does public relations work for AT&T in East Tennessee, discussed the dangers of texting and driving to members of Cocke County High School's Key Club, on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

Hill showed 12 minutes of a somber documentary on the personal tragedies people across the U.S. have faced because someone got distracted driving while texting, and caused an accident, sometimes with fatalities.

The documentary was made in August by acclaimed German film director Werner Herzog.
