NEWPORT—Dr. Sandra O’Connor has announced the annual Fall
Rabies Clinics will be held during September and early October at various
locations throughout Cocke County.
The cost of a one-year rabies vaccination is $8 and a
distemper/parvo vaccination is $14.
The first clinics will be on Saturday Sept. 7. The clinic
will be a Bridgeport School from 12:30 to 1 p.m., Parrottsville Elementary from
3 to 3:30 p.m. and Centerview Elementary from 5 to 5:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Sept. 14, clinics will be at Smokey Mountain
Elementary from 12:30 to 1 p.m., Grassy Fork Elementary from 2:30 to 3 p.m. and
Del Rio Nature Center from 4:30 to 5 p.m.
A Cats Only clinic will be held at Cedarwood Veterinary
Hospital from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28.
The final clinics will be Saturday, Oct. 5 at Cosby
School from 1 to 2 p.m. and at Edgemont School from 4 to 5 p.m.
