Jefferson Cocke County Utility District received good
news on two significant achievements, thanks to the work of local employees,
said General Manager Tommy Bible.
For five years in a row now the public utility serving
more than 12,300 customers in Cocke and Jefferson counties received the
national American Public Gas Association (APGA) annual safety award.
The safety award is given to only a few utilities in America
because of their outstanding safety records, said Bible. The APGA award was for
