Curtis L. Whittle, Sr., age 81, of Cosby, died Monday,
July 29, 2013, at Newport Health & Rehabilitation Center.
He was a retired nursery operator and minister.
He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis Mason and
Bula Irene Whittle and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Fish Whittle of Cosby,
son Curtis Lee, Jr. and wife Kathy of Cocoa, FL, daughters Irene Diane of Ohio,
Ida JoAnne of Georgia, and Debra Carrol of Knoxville; one sister Laura Ruth
Jarvis of Auburndale, Florida; eight grandchildren, and nine
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August
2, 2013, at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Byron Chambers officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the services.
Interment will follow in the McGaha Cemetery.
The family would like to say a special "Thanks"
to all of the wonderful people of Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice.
