GRAINGER COUNTY-Accused execution-style murderer Jason Bryan Holt, 37, will face a Grainger County Grand Jury in September, said District Attorney General Jimmy Dunn on Monday, June 24.

Holt, who is a former Bean Station police officer and Grainer County Sheriff's Department employee, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Thursday, June 20, when he was in court.

Holt allegedly lined up and then shot four people at the Down Home Pharmacy on Main Street in Bean Station on May 23. The pharmacy's owner, Stephen Lovell, of Morristown, and pharmacy customer Richard Alexander Sommerville, 35, were shot and killed.

Janet Collen Cliff, 46, of Rutledge, and Alexia "Lexi" Gail Wilson, 45, whose mother, Ruth Wilson, owns the Wilson Sav-Mor Pharmacy on East Main Street in downtown Newport, were also shot, but survived.
