Ground Broken for New Clinic: Rural Medical's new facility to be completed by next year

NEWPORT-Rural Medical Services,
Inc. (RMS) will open a new clinic in Newport. A ground-breaking ceremony was held at the site,
located on Hedrick Drive, Monday morning.
"This is a special day for
Rural Medical," said Larry Stanifer, MPH, CEO of Rural Medical Services, Inc. "We will be in the
new clinic in 330 days from now."
The newest clinic will be an 18,600
square foot, two-story facility with an elevator.
"This will be our
first elevator," laughed Stanifer.
The same medical services
provided by RMS will be offered at the new clinic, including:
Acute Chronic Care
• Specialty Referral
• Patient Health Education
