NEWPORT-A passenger on the back of a motorcycle that
wrecked was injured and airlifted by helicopter to a hospital, on Saturday, May
25, the Newport Police Department reported.
Susan Moore, 55, of Lester, N.C. suffered an
"incapacitating" injury and was flown to the Newport Medical Center
after the 2006 HDMC she was on that was driven by James Robert Moore, 57, also
of Lester, wrecked as he attempted a left turn from northbound Highway 321 to
westbound Highway 25/70, Capt. Scott Lamb stated in a report.
