PARROTTSVILLE-Parrottsville City Commissioners voted unanimously Thursday to change the city's beer license ordinance.
The city's current ordinance allows only one beer license
to a business that was grandfathered by already have a permit when the present
ordinance was adopted.
Since that time, Parrottsville has expanded its city
limits and new businesses have opened, including The Dollar Store on Hwy. 321.
"The Dollar Store has made a second request to sell
beer," said Mayor Mary Keller, "and there is a possibility that other
businesses will make the same request in the future."
