NEWPORT-Audrey Jones had only positive things to say about her 39 years of employment with National Bank of Tennessee.

Jones and L.C. Gregg were honored with a retirement party on Friday, April 19, at Fox & Hounds Restaurant.

Jones reminisced about her time at NBT following dinner at the restaurant.

"I've made some wonderful friends (at the bank) that I treasure," Jones said. She said that because of her long employment span at the bank, she saw other employees "come in as kids, get married, and then have kids of their own."

She loves her family, and being a grandmother of two boys.

Said Jones, "Any time anyone asks me for something, it will have to be around my grandchildren's schedule." Her son Trey's boys are Charlie Jones, who is 3, and Peyton Indiana Jones, who is seven months old.
