"We are proud to offer the Family Safety
Festival to the community, with a two-fold purpose," said Spencer Thomas, CEO of Newport Medical
Center. "First, the festival allows emergency responders from across Cocke County to come together
to interact with people and showcase their skills and commitment to those they serve. Secondly, and
most important of all, this festival helps inform and engage our citizens so that they may protect
themselves and their families from accidents, fire and other life-safety emergencies. Whether they
are eight or 80, everyone will find something there that will help them stay safe."
