Teresa Jane Miller, 46, was arrested Wednesday, March 27, at her residence
at 541 Clifton Heights, in Newport, and charged with four counts of first-degree
murder. Miller was detained briefly at the Cocke County Jail Annex before being
transported to the Greene County jail. Seen leave the Cocke County Jail Annex,

NEWPORT-Teresa Jane Miller, 46, was arrested at her home
at 541 Clifton Heights Road, in Newport, on Wednesday, March 27, after a Greene
County grand jury met on March 26 and issued a presentment indictment for four
counts of first-degree murder.
The charges are a part of the investigation of the
double-homicide of Courtney Thompson and Terrence Stewart that took place on
March 11, 2012, in Greene County.
The two bodies were located approximately one mile from
the Cocke County/Greene County line on Highway 321 (the Newport Highway).
