The National Bank of Tennessee in cooperation with the Cocke County
Soil Conservation District is having its 32nd annual tree seedling
giveaway starting 9 a.m. this Saturday at the bank's main office parking
lot. The seedlings will be given on a first come basis. 2,500 loblolly and
2,500 white pine trees will be given out in bundles of 25. Cosby High
students bundling the trees are, from left in the front row, Marlea Costner
and Raile Childress. On the second row, from left, are Devin Stuber,
Welsey Lampkin (advisor), Chase Freeman, Justin Shelton, Ethan Keys
and Jonathon Hayes.
