NEWPORT-A masquerade ball at Smoky Mountain Country Club on Saturday, April 6, will help raise funds for an upcoming statewide conference to be held in Cocke County.

In 2015, Cocke County will host the annual Tennessee Association of Tennessee Leadership (TACL). Each Tennessee county will send a representative to Cocke County for workshops, networking, and sharing of best practices.

"This is a rare opportunity for our county to be showcased and show the other county representatives our beautiful home and the opportunities we have for tourists," said Steve Tweed, committee member.
