NEWPORT—Boys & Girls Club of Newport/Cocke County has
kicked off its annual Back-A-Kid campaign.
The campaign will raise funds for the Clubs’ after-school
and summer programs for youth ages 7-18. This campaign challenges individuals
and businesses to match each others donations.
Funds raised will help sponsor kids to attend summer
programs and provide quality after-school programs such as Power Hour homework
help, computer skills training, career exploration, Arts & Crafts, Fitness
& Sports, Health & Life Skills and Character & Leadership programs
such as Young Women of Distinction, Passport to Manhood, V.I.P’s, Jr. Leaders,
Torch Club, Keystone Club and Youth of the Year.
