NEWPORT-Members of the Cocke County Tourism Council,
meeting Tuesday, began planning the third annual Music of the Mountain
celebration scheduled for Sunday, April 21, at the Cosby Visitors Center.
"We're already having inquiries," said Tourism
Director Linda Lewanski. "This has proven to be one of the most successful
events we have."
Music of the Mountains highlights Cocke County's gospel
music tradition and is part of a three-day musical celebration that starts on
Friday, April 19, in Blount County and continues on Saturday, April 22, in
Sevier County.
