NEWPORT-Cocke County Sheriff Department officers rescued
a one-year-old boy and a two-year-old boy from a house on Orchard View Drive
where a meth lab had been producing methamphetamine, on Wednesday, Feb. 27,
Sheriff Armando Fontes stated.
Two residents were arrested and each charged with
promotion of methamphetamine, and child abuse and neglect or endangerment, a
report by Lt. Ricky Holt and the sheriff stated.
The two people arrested are Dustin Dale Bledsoe, 24, of
550 Orchard View Drive, and Rebecca Ledbetter, 51, of the same address,
according to the report.
