COSBY-For the second consecutive season, the Cosby Eagles
couldnï¿½t advance past the quarterfinal round of the Region 1-A tournament against the fourth seed
from District 1-A.
The Eagles fell in overtime at home to University High on Saturday
evening, 69-66. University High advances to Tuesday nightï¿½s region semifinal against Cloudland at
7:45 p.m. at Chuckey-Doak Middle School.
University High began to take control of the game in
the final minute of overtime. The Buccaneers went on an 8-2 to run to finish off the Eagles as a
