PARROTTSVILLE-Antiques lovers have a treat in store on
Saturday, March 9, when the Parrottsville Ruritan Club will host its inaugural
Antique Appraisal Fair at Parrottsville Elementary School from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Appraisers certified by the Appraisers Association of
America will be on hand to value items ranging from Grandma's Seth Thomas clock
to Grandpa's Civil War sword.
Appraisals are $5 per item or set (such as dishes).
In addition to the appraisals, antique vendors will offer
wide selections of items for purchase. There will also be a bake sale and lunch
will be available for $5 per meal.
