NEWPORT-United States Rep. Phil Roe will lead government
officials in updating those attending the fourth annual Legislative Breakfast
on current affairs affecting local citizens. The event will be Friday, March 1,
at 8 a.m. at Carson Springs Baptist Conference Center.
Hosted by the Cocke County Partnership, the popular
gathering brings together government officials in one setting. Joining Roe will
be Lana Moore, Field Representative for Sen. Lamar Alexander. Roe and Moore
will bring news from Washington, while State Sen. Steve Southerland, and State
Rep. Jeremy Faison will share information from the Tennessee State Legislature.
Rounding out the group will be Parrottsville Mayor Mary
Keller, Newport Mayor Connie Ball, and Cocke County Mayor Vaughn Moore.
