NEWPORT-Newport businessman Lemmy Wilson remains a
patient in the intensive care unit of UT Hospital in Knoxville following an
accident late Tuesday.
Wilson, 75, suffered a fractured skull and other injuries
after he was apparently thrown from his horse, Artie, while he and employee.
Bobby Dalton, were checking Wilson's cattle near his home.
In a telephone interview late Wednesday, Wilson's son,
Jack, said Dalton did not see the accident. "He heard Pop yell and when he
got there, the horse was running away. We don't know if something spooked the
horse or what."
