The next step in the postseason run for area basketball teams
takes flight on Friday night when both county high schools host regional quarterfinal games.
The Lady Eagles of Cosby begin their march to attempt to qualify for a third consecutive
Class A sectional game when they host Unaka High School. Meanwhile the Lady Red of Cocke County
will attempt to advance to their first region semifinal since 1993 when they host Volunteer High
School.
