COSBY-A long journey has ended close to home for Cosby High School senior quarterback Drew Schreder.

Schreder signed a National Letter of Intent with NCAA Division II Tusculum College on Wednesday afternoon in a National Signing Day ceremony in front of friends and family at the school.

The Cosby High School senior quarterback, who established the single-season passing record at the school this past season, said Wednesday was the culmination of a dream come true.

"I'm happy, I'm really happy," Schreder said. "It's a dream come true to understand that all of my hard work has paid off and to prove that people can be successful if they stick with things."
