Driver names suspect on Lane Drive who fired two gunshots

NEWPORT-Matthew Hester, 22, of Bogard Road, in Newport, said that while driving on Lane Drive at about 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, he heard two gunshots.

Hester named a suspect, but the suspect told Sgt. Steve Johnson he did not fire a weapon, the report stated.
