NEWPORT-The Newport Grammar basketball squads started a bit
sluggish on Tuesday before earning a pair of victories against Meadowview.

led Newport Grammar with 14 points. Paige Gentry added 10 in the win.
Jaleah Patton had eight
to lead Meadowview.
The Warriors saw a huge lead diminish to just four with under a minute to
play, but held on for the win 37-32.

Newport Grammar.
Sean Lindsey had 14 for the Vikings in the loss.
Both NGS squads
return to action this evening as they travel to White Pine. They will then return home on Tuesday
