First baby of 2013 arrives Friday morning

Cocke County's first baby of 2013 arrived at 6:34 a.m. Friday, January 4. Drs.
Larry Mathers and Deana Brotherton delivered Jacob Brian Tolbert at Newport
Medical Center. He was 19 1/4 inches long and weighed 7 pounds and 3 ounces.
Holding Jacob is his mother, Jasmine Peach, of Parrottsville. Standing are
Jacob's grandmother, Louise Key, left, and Dr. Brotherton.
