COSBY-The owner of Cosby BBQ Pit on Hooper Highway said
that on Thursday, Dec. 27, at 10 p.m., as she exited her business, a woman
robbed her of $120 in cash at knifepoint, the Cocke County Sheriff's Department
reported.
Sharon R. Mathis said she left her business at 4414
Hooper Highway when a woman later identified as Brandy Williamson, 22, of
Newport, confronted her with a knife and took the cash from Mathis's left
pocket, Lt. C.J. Ball reported.
Mathis said she was in fear of Williamson when she robbed
her, the report stated.
