BYBEE-A family still grieving over the loss of their son
in a boating accident last year is honoring him in a special way this
Christmas.
Terry and Judy Dawson, who live at 104 Sawyer Hollow
Road, in Bybee, have put up Christmas lights on the side of a barn on their
property that says, "Merry Christmas, Brad. We love you."
The number six is significant to the family.
Brad Dawson, their son, was born on Dec. 6, in 1982.
And six days is the amount of time rescuers spent
searching for the 29-year-old Brad following the boating accident on March 19,
2011. It was an understandably agonizing waiting period for the family before
their son's body was found.
The father, Terry Dawson, says that is why earlier this
month, the family had the large Christmas light display read this for six days:
"Happy Birthday, Brad. We love you."
