NEWPORT-A woman who allegedly stabbed a man and a woman on Saturday, Dec. 15, was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder and aggravated assault, the Newport Police Department reported.

Amanda D. Worley, 33, of Lincoln Avenue, in Newport, turned herself in to the police department Monday, Dec. 17, on warrants taken out by Det. Jason Ramsey for the two charges.

The warrants claim that Worley got into a verbal altercation with her husband, Telles Nelson, 39, and a friend of his, Ashley Paul, 27, at Worley's and Nelson's residence at 123 Lincoln Ave.
