PARROTTSVILLE-The Town of Parrottsville will present
Christmas in the Park this Saturday, December 15, at Parrott-Larue-Myers Park
in downtown Parrottsville.
Gift and food vendors will be set up for business under
the park's pavilion at 1:00 p.m. "Drop by and find those unique gifts for
your loved ones," encouraged Mayor Mary Keller, "and check some of
those names off your list by shopping here."
At 5 p.m., the town will light its Christmas tree in a
special ceremony.
"We'll also have a live Nativity scene," added
Keller, "along with a Christmas Store where children can purchase gifts
for their parents."
Santa Claus will make a special appearance and take note
of children's special wishes.
"Children will receive treat bags," said
Keller, "and will also delight in Santa's Workshop. They can even mail
their letters to Santa!"
