Christmas Parade First Place Float

Newport Line Dancers had the first place float in Saturday's Chamber of Commerce
Christmas parade in downtown Newport. The Newport Line Dancers were riding in
an 1878 wagon used as a logging wagon, previously owned by William Simpson
Rainwater of Chestnut Hill. The wagon is now owned by Mike and Barbara Proffitt
of Newport.
