NEWPORT-A Knoxville resident who heard about the dog
killed during an aggravated burglary on Nov. 28 is offering a $500 reward to
anyone with knowledge of who perpetrated the crime.
Michael Holober is offering the reward.
On Nov. 28, Newport Police Department officers were
called to a residence on Eighth Street concerning an aggravated burglary,
according to a report by NPD Capt. Scott Lamb.
Police discovered the rear door had been kicked in, the
master bedroom of the residence had been ransacked, and the victim's pet
terrier mix, named "Simon", had been killed.
