NEWPORT-What has become an eagerly anticipated holiday event for Cocke Countians, the annual Christmas concert presented by the combined Cocke County High School and Newport Grammar School bands and chorus students, will be held tonight at First Baptist Church beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

The NGS Choir, under the direction of Robin Elkins, will join the CCHS Beginners and Advanced Choirs, under the direction of Jerry Maloy, and the CCHS Red Regiment band, directed by Pat Mason and assistant directors Brandon Tilley and Kathy Sotelo, to perform a selection of holiday numbers.
