DEL RIO-Organizers of the annual Del Rio Bazaar welcomed carloads of people to the new Del Rio Elementary School gymnasium last Saturday for the annual gathering of artisans showcasing their latest works. Parking spaces quickly became premium real estate when
doors opened at 9:00 a.m. to admit past shoppers eager to take advantage of the
opportunity to purchase unique handcrafted items.
Income from the event, primarily from vendor fees, will
be dedicated to roof repairs at the Del Rio Community Center, which includes
the Del Rio Volunteer Fire Department's central station and the Marie Ellison
Memorial Library.
