DEL RIO AND PARROTTSVILLE-Cocke County citizens will have at least two choices of holiday events to attend this weekend as the month of December arrives.

The fifth annual Del Rio Christmas Bazaar, hosted by the Del Rio Community Association and Marie Ellison Memorial Library, will open Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. in the new Del Rio Elementary School Library.

Over 40 vendors have registered to offer arrays of woodworking, needlework, folk art, cornshuck dolls, handmade jewelry, Christmas ornaments, candles, paintings, photo prints, greeting cards, cakes, pies, cookies, and candles to the expected throng.
