NEWPORT-An "Angel Tree" for senior citizens in
the Newport/Cocke County area is up at the downtown courthouse again this year.
There are 128 ornaments on the Christmas tree in the
courthouse lobby, with three suggested gift items for each senior citizen.
This is the second annual "A Servant's Heart for
Seniors" project. Rev. Dick and Judy Miller and Cocke County Sheriff
Armando Fontes kicked it off.
