PARROTTSVILLE-Parrottsville civic leaders will host the town's first Christmas in the Park, an elaborate celebration of the holiday season, on Saturday, December 15, at Parrott-Larue-Myers Park.

Parrottsville Mayor Mary Keller announced Monday that she hopes this will become an annual event.

"We have all sorts of things planned to celebrate the holiday season," Keller said. "Vendors will be on site from 1:00-8:00 p.m., and we'll light the tree at 5:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to step back in time and enjoy the magic of an old-fashioned Christmas in the park."
