BYBEE-The victim of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 160
on Friday, Nov. 23, was flown to Johnson City Medical Center where on Monday
evening, Nov. 26, he was listed in "critical condition", according to
a hospital spokesperson.
Michael Alan Shelton, 48, of Talbott, was allegedly not
wearing a seat belt when the 1967 Chevrolet C-15 pickup truck he was driving
north on Highway 160, near Briar Thicket Road, veered off the right shoulder of
the highway and into the ditch line, at 5:55 p.m., Tennessee Highway Patrol
Trooper Randy Spurgeon reported.
