The Rankin Bottoms Project will sponsor a clean-up on Saturday, December 8, from 10-2, weather permitting. Volunteers should gather at Rankin Bottoms near the coal tipple.

Keep Cocke County Beautiful will provide gloves, trash bags, litter-grabbers, snacks, and drinking water during the day. Volunteers will also receive a Rankin Bottoms t-shirt.

In addition to the clean-up project, participants will also have the opportunities to look for waterfowl and other birds on Upper Douglas Lake before and after the event.
